Cartes a una nimfa parteix d’una serendipitat: la decisió d’una eruga de convertir-se en papallona al vidre de la porta de l’habitació. A partir d’aquest fet s’inicia un relat des de l’observació i la curiositat que obre una sèrie de preguntes per explorar com ens relacionem amb altres formes de vida, repensar conjuntament el que ja hi és des d’allò proper, habitar nous punts de vista i eixamplar els marges de lo possible, deixar lloc al dubte.
Podem realment arribar a comprendre allò més-que-humà? Com ens apropem al que no entenem? Quines jerarquies establim des de l’antropocentrisme? Què passa quan el llenguatge no és suficient? Així, al llarg d’aquesta conversa que no espera resposta, s’obre un diàleg des de la impossibilitat de comunicar per aprendre, potser, a escoltar.

Cartes a una nimfa stems from a serendipity: the decision from a lullaby of becoming butterfly attached to the glass of the room’s door. From this start point, a narration is initiated based on observation and curiosity to open a series of questions around how are we approaching life. The intention is to think-with other forms of life how can we reconsider what is already there, to wide the boundaries of possible, to inhabit new points of view and let space for doubt.
Can we really comprehend more-than-human worlds? How are we approaching what we cannot understand? Which kind of hierarchies are we stablishing from the anthropocentrism? What happens when language is not enough? This conversation that does not expect an answer aims to open a dialog from the impossibility of communication in order to learn, perhaps, how to listen.
